The Challenge
ShopNova's monolithic e-commerce platform was buckling under 50,000 daily users during flash sales. They needed a complete re-architecture to microservices with independent scaling, zero-downtime deployments, and a modern React frontend.
The Solution
I decomposed the monolith into 8 microservices: Catalog, Cart, Order, Payment, Inventory, Notification, User, and Analytics. Each service was independently deployable via Docker containers orchestrated on Kubernetes. Apache Kafka handled inter-service communication, while PostgreSQL and Redis managed data persistence and caching respectively.

Client Testimonial
“Our flash sales used to be a nightmare. Now we handle 100K+ concurrent users without breaking a sweat. The microservices architecture Soumik designed is the best investment we've made.”
