The Challenge
MediConnect wanted to build a HIPAA-compliant telemedicine platform supporting video consultations, prescription management, appointment scheduling, and electronic health records — accessible on web and mobile.
The Solution
I built a cross-platform solution using Next.js for the web portal and React Native for mobile apps. The backend ran on Spring Boot with PostgreSQL for health records, Redis for real-time appointment status, and WebRTC for video consultations. End-to-end encryption ensured patient data privacy.
